I'm currently a sophomore in IOE. I don't know if this is the proper place to ask, but would IOE roles in engineering firms value investment banking and business development experience?
I have experience as a business development manager at a law firm and this upcoming summer I will have had IB M&A experience at an MM bank in Asia.
I am primarily interested in making it into IB/MBB consulting but I plan to keep IOE engineering roles as a fallback option and I was wondering how valuable my experience would be in the eyes of an engineering recruiter.
