Internal Transfer-- bonus?

A few months back i transferred to a different group at my firm, having started the previous summer. When I got my first bonus in February, my manager made it clear that it was prorated and had I been working for a full year it would have been higher.

How do I approach the upcoming bonus season (assuming I'm still around) with my new boss? Do I ask him to take into account a review from my old boss and have that factor in to the number? Confusing situation, would appreciate any insight into this.

If it's less than expected/he mentions that you didn't get a full bonus then sure, bring it up in a respectful way. If it's what you expected AND should expect, then there's no reason to mention it.
