MO/BO outside of major city?

Hey guys,

I applied to two IBs for MO/BO roles in ops/tech originally being based in London which is ideal. However, they both have filled their grad. schemes for the roles in London and offered me the same position but in a different location (exact locations arent relevant but neither are big cities at all) and im a bit concerned about it.

Obviously neither are my number one choices now (probably were before) and have stated that id have to stay on for 2 years or so before I can even consider moving to London.

I suppose what im asking is, is it even worth it? Im guessing salary is going to be scaled down and youre not going to be in the same environment, which makes it much less glamorous to me and it may as well be any other job in any other industry. But if the networking is good (can it be?) will it worth hanging on to and seeing where it can take me?
Dont get me wrong, I have other options but these are 2 big players in the industry and whilst the name will look good on the CV, I have a feeling unless it says London next to it, it may as well be anyone; in my opinion its certainly not going to look as good.
