The Greatest depression to come?

I really don't know about the vast majority of people on WSO but am I crazy to think that harsh times are on the way? Let's face it, despite the competitive nature of I Banking, Asset Management, Etc these industries along with everything else are all pretty much crippled right now. Nothing in north america is really growing and wont thanks to the cheap and skilled labour of Asia.

Gold wont stop rising. The american's can't stop the printing press which is slowly setting the stage for hyperinflation. Canadian's think everything EH OK but the vast majority of them seem to be copying their neighbours and overextending themselves (don't believe me? look at the household debt to equity ratios of toronto but more importantly vancouver).

So seriously boys, whats to come? I don't know whats in store for the future but it would be nice to hear from some of you what you guys think is in store for the future.
