1st Year Associate Salaries? Negotiating?
Curious what people were offered for Associate salaries this year? I am starting at a mid-market growth buyout shop with $125k base (the same I make as an IB analyst) and 90-120% bonus. $10k is also invested in your name every time they make a platform investment (you receive the upside not the $10k). 2 other analysts in my class got $300k all in and one of them had the option to co-invest in the fund. What have offers have you all gotten? Anyone successfully negotiate their offer up?
