2023 On-Cycle
Know this has been mentioned disparately in a few recent threads, but has anyone been in touch with headhunters / funds for when 2023 on-cycle will look to kick-off? Obviously might be firm-dependent, but am more inquiring on a general range (i.e., January vs March vs June) for when the lions share of firms will aim to recruit. Thanks in advance.
I am hearing rumblings it will take place over the summer. Of course this could change at a moments notice, who knows.
Headhunters I know have said that they’re still working on 2022 roles. Seems like 2023 recruiting won’t kick off for another couple of months at least

Would reaching out from a MM tier group to headhunters and asking for UMM / MF Look stupid or unreasonable
Do people generally find out early enough to prepare or is it very last minute and you need to be ready at any moment starting this month?
Based on my experience this year (I’m a second year) - HHs started outreach to my class asking for us to fill out questionnaires with our info / resume. ~2 weeks later the process kicked off
Heard from a HH that they’re not looking at 2023 right now and are hoping it will be on a similar timeline to 2022. It only take 1 shop to kick it off, but that’s what I heard from one HH
