Are Sixth Street Growth and BX Growth done?
Are those guys late minority? I thought they were control
I thought same as well. Can someone confirm?
Historically major growth firms are always just off-cycle to late off cycle, closer to the 9 month mark of the first year (TPG Growth, Bessemer, Summit, TA Associates, Insight, Accel-KKR, JMI etc.) in my experience all of these shops really started like 2-3 months into the job, and some a lot later.
From what I remember GA and TA were definitely the earliest, with the rest being notably behind.

TPG growth did on cycle for both 2024 and 2025 starts
TPG growth also had multiple seats open as late as March of this year.
TA had the webinar last weekend and are starting to setup coffee chats I believe so I assume they will start interviewing early to late winter.
