Abraaj Group Hiring Process

Does anyone know what their recruiting process is like? What's the timeline? Do they do the year and a half thing in advance like the north american mega funds? What's the best recruiters to use (if any)?

Any information would be very helpful.

Thanks All

Easily the most respected PE firm in the Middle East. Superb exits, one of the few doing deals bigger than MM. Tough work culture but no different from what you'd expect at Tier 1 PE firms anywhere else. In fact, they are effectively Tier 1 here, with Carlyle a notch below and KKR/Blackstone merely fundraising offices for now.

Things have changed somewhat since they bought Aureos but comp was exceptional (bonuses) prior to that to my knowledge. I assume BB - Abraaj - Top 7 business schools would be fairly easy given they have an emerging market cache that B-schools love these days.

Just got an offer from these guys for their Global Analyst position after a pretty long, drawn out process that ran almost 4 months. I'm also looking to get a bit more info on the firm and how they are perceived outside the ME, especially in the US. Also, would love to know how the experience would be viewed in terms of business school.

If anyone is interested in learning more about the Analyst role feel free to reach out.
