I haven't worked with them specifically, but I would say that if you are already in IB as an analyst, making a non-PE move generally lowers your chances of breaking in. Sadly, the industry is pretty formulaic (even in the lower MM, where I have spent my career), and anything that makes you "less typical" is probably a bad idea, if that is your end goal. I could be wrong, but check their alumni--are people typically leaving for PE or other opportunities?

If you are unsatisfied with the PE opportunities that you are currently seeing, I would say that it would be better to lateral to a better name shop.
