Adams Street Partners Internship

I am a sophomore currently interviewing for internships, one of which is at Adams Street Partners. Nobody I know has done an internship there and they haven't done any networking events on my campus.

Can anyone who has (or knows someone who has) interned there give me a rundown of what the interview was like and how your internship experience was?

The gentleman I spoke with on the phone made it abundantly clear it would mostly be doing busywork for associates. He asked a few basic questions about my background and tested my accounting and excel proficiency.

I got offered a second round but declined. I decided a role at a larger company with more defined training and responsibilities would be a better fit.

Didn't interview for internship, but I did get pretty fair into their interview process for full-time associate recruiting.

Seemed like a solid group, although almost exclusively focused on VC. I did ~1-2 behavioral interviews, then a case, then a ~5 hour superday with almost everyone in the office I was interviewing at. You definitely have to be passionate about the VC space & Healthcare / Tech there.
