Administrative to Finance (ex. BX)??

Due to financial commitments, after completing grad school (humanities) I left non-profit research work to do administrative work at a major law firm. Assuming I'm intelligent, hard-working (think working 18 hours on both days of the weekend most weekends), good understanding of securities regulations (and interested in completing Series etc etc if needed), but with no experience in finance.....what chance do I have in going into going into Finance (ex. BX)? What kind of finance research could I do which wouldn't involve so much modeling/math skills?

You actually do sound super duper intelligent...Usually we just get a bunch of fake geniuses around here. I think the better question is: how can you help US get to BX?

Under my tutelage, you will grow from boys to men. From men into gladiators. And from gladiators into SWANSONS.

Realistically? None. Unless you network and can convince school alumni to help you out you'll have next to no chance. Also calling yourself super intelligent OP makes you sound like an arrogant arsehole. Looking to get into a top firm with fuck all relevant experience is either a case of A) extremely naivete or B) you have an incredibly high opinion of yourself.
