Andreessen Horowitz Menlo Park

Hi guys,

Does anyone have information on A16Z's Growth team in Menlo Park? The GP team is made up of ex-GA/TA, and the junior team is made up of ex-LGP, WP, Bain, etc. The most recent fund is $5bn (2022 vintage) after ~$3bn and ~$2bn. It looks like mostly Series B-D but that's just from a scan through PitchBook in <1min.

Specifically I want to know if it's private equity culture (see above) or if it's venture capital culture. I want to know what the split of work is between juniors and seniors. I also want to know what the decision making process is; how flat it is vs. hierarchical. Lastly, I am curious how autonomous it is.

VP-level comp would be great too if you have it :)

Many thanks.
