Very interested to hear if anyone has worked with this dude before. He co-founded H.I.G Capital back in 1993, became a valedictorian at Columbia University in 1981, and got his JD/MBA at Harvard… what a fucking animal! Hopefully some HIG boys on here can fill the gap in my question. You guys got any rockstar CEO’s like this one? I’d love to hear about it. Couldn’t imagine working with guy’s that are so so extremely motivated like that.

Know someone who met him. Apparently he’s the most unpleasant person they ever met. Constantly shitting on his junior workforce, and this combined with the low pay makes me suspect that they do not respect juniors at all at his shop. However I have no firsthand knowledge.

this is cringe you shall realize that there are some shitty people with Harvard degrees and MBAs and shouldn’t be worshipped like Jesus Christ came back as a Partner/MD at a financial shop.
