Any PE Folks with Industry Knowledge in Cremation

Long story short, I've been trying to come up with a business idea to get me out of/supplement my mediocre FP&A salary.  I recently read a report on how the cremation industry will continue to grow as the cost for a proper burial become unaffordable to the vast majority of Americans.  That and the fact that most millennial's aren't religious, so they don't give a shit about what happens to their mom and dad's body (this is all pretty dark, I know).

So what are y'alls thoughts.. too much competition in the space?  Too much red tape?  Does this idea have legs?

Not in PE but I would recommend reading the SCI earnings calls. Lots of incumbent players in the funeral home/cemetery space are seriously concerned about the rising popularity of cremations (up from 10% decades ago to >50%). This trend caused Stonemor (one of the larger public funeral home operators) to collapse.
