Anyone else have a hard time listening in meetings

I find I can’t multi task taking notes while also paying attention to the meeting and then on IC calls I can only really pay the most attention to my own deal and other deals discussed go over my head and I tune out a lot easily which is bad as I’m not building critical thinking skills. Does this come with time ?

bro, all you have to do is nod on occasion and laugh at MD jokes. train that superficial  laugh, it will pay off.

On a more serious note, we use AI for note taking and summaries. Even Teams has that feature and it's pretty good. All our analysts have to do is clean up and add a few bullet points from random stuff that wasn't captured.

Companies love staff that are "switched on", meaning people who can handle multiple things at the same time. When I was younger I was typing 200 words/minute in one meeting while I was talking on another call on an entirely different deal.  You should see people's faces when I was the only dude who was in both meetings and didn't have to catch up with anyone. Fun times.

What if I’m a bad analyst but I work hard ? Will I eventually get pushed out ? How can I become better ?
