Anyone else still having trouble getting HH meetings?

2nd year at a mid-tier BB, semi-target school with good deal experience, and honestly cannot believe how difficult it has been getting the time of day from headhunters just for a preliminary meeting. Signed up and emailed all of them early the last week, have yet to be able to get a time on the calendar with CPI, Amity, etc. Ratio only just finally got back to me with only available dates for late next week. What kind of clownshow are these guys running?

CPI totally sucks. Left this process with an absolutely terrible impression of the firm. Had great meetings with all the other major headhunters and developed great relationships with them. Every other HH firm lined me up with very solid interviews, and I ended up landing at a MF in NY. CPI didn’t give me the time of day, never replied to emails, and wouldn’t even schedule a meeting. Total joke.
