Would appreciate insights on the associate program and specific buyout teams in NYC: consumer/internet, services, healthcare. Hours/culture/reputation/exits/anything else.

Are they recruiting again for 2024?
Doubt it - they kicked off on-cycle and interviewed more kids than any other megafund. Goal was to fill the class.
Can confirm they have off-cycle spots available.
At an EB and feels like over half my analyst class interviewed with only 1 getting an offer. Could they have been intentionally saving slots for off cycle?
Yes. Just received outreach for their flagship fund.
Is it for the healthcare group? I heard Technology, Internet/Consumer, Services filled up during on cycle.

If you get an offer at any one of those 3 funds you are signing on the spot. This isn't banking where you can get the MS offer and sit on it for a week to leverage it for CVP.
Did not like the people I met at Apax Digital at all, they had so much more attitude and self-aggrandizement than the parallel groups I met with from KKR, Bain, and Insight partners
