Apollo Networking Event??
Hi guys, current senior here. Going to a top EB this summer, am a diversity male, attended a non-target. Just got an email from Apollo with the following title: “Invitation: Building Better Companies: Apollo’s Introduction to Private Equity.” Seems like several virtual workshops where you get the opportunity to network with people at Apollo and they go over their investment strategy/PE in general. Was curious if anyone else got this? Not sure how they would have gotten my email, only guess I could make is through my EB since it’s tended to send people to Apollo consistently and is very supportive of buyside recruiting. Anyone else get this?

Would avoid Apollo at all costs
Honestly surprised after all the coverage of Apollo’s culture and burnt out juniors, there are still those who clamor for it.
Surprised people even want to do investment banking
