How would you compare both offices in terms of experience, deal flow, compensation, lifestyle, exits and anything else that comes to mind?

NYC is headquarters so there's definitely some advantages but LA office has some rockstar partners that routinely knock it out of the park on deals (e.g. Sun Country) - this is more a general perspective on things at the senior level
on the junior side, NYC produces a lot of great exits, usually a lot of associates leave for tiger cubs and etc., uncertain about LA office exits but most associates there are laterals, that office is a revolving door of people quitting and known to be the sweat shop even within Apollo
