NYC is headquarters so there's definitely some advantages but LA office has some rockstar partners that routinely knock it out of the park on deals (e.g. Sun Country) - this is more a general perspective on things at the senior level

on the junior side, NYC produces a lot of great exits, usually a lot of associates leave for tiger cubs and etc., uncertain about LA office exits but most associates there are laterals, that office is a revolving door of people quitting and known to be the sweat shop even within Apollo

hah man...how scary is it to know the amount of power you got on here. People refuse to believe multiple times your warnings (fake news)...outright provide direct example now obsessed with seeking out more information. 

That said based on everything said, I think this Partner would see this thread as a victory, have met people like this in finance they pride themselves in fear they instill.
