Someone’s said Ares Private Equity out of undergraduate pays 170-200k. It’s Ares first summer with a credit group pipeline, so you won’t find any numbers, but the PE group pay seems to imply it’ll be above-the-street most likely. Covid is gonna impact everyone’s bonuses this year tho.

You’re right that it’s important to point out, but I meant IB out of undergrad street, there’s like 4-5 large pe firms that hire out of undergrad (only other pe firm pay I’ve heard is Warburg Pincus pays 180k, no bucket so yes you’re right), and to my knowledge only KKR has a similar pipeline program in credit. Not really a street to compare, so I think comparable applicant pool pay is a good metric considering these kids just want to get paid more than their peers in IB.
