Does anyone have any insight to Auldbrass Partners? Looks like a distressed fund that spun out of Citi, but curious if they’re legit.

It's a secondaries fund. They focus on secondary-direct transactions (acquiring minority positions in individual companies from existing shareholders). Returns are lacklustre, several employees quit over the years saying the leadership is a disaster. They did however just get Cambridge Associates as a big LP which helped their fundraise. They do not focus on distress.
