Will say NY sponsors seems to have dropped off slightly in exits, could be just due to smaller size so less total analysts. LA sponsors exits are certainly as good as ever.
Group honestly doesn’t matter nearly as much as people think assuming you’re in coverage. For generalist PE, you’ll probably get the most looks from HC, Industrials, Tech and Consumer just given broadness of sectors. Power and NatRes I think are more energy focused, but generalist is still definitely doable. In any of the groups mentioned plus a couple others will get looks from Mega Funds and UMM. Actually getting those offers is harder from Barclays vs GS/MS, but feels like most people who recruit on cycle from Barclays coverage get UMM/brand MM.

Tech, Healthcare do very well in on cycle
as well as industrials and sponsors

agree it's tech and industrials, but CRG does decent as well.
Bump anything else? Curious about P&U, NatRes, and Industrials
Industrials does pretty well. I know have sent people to a mix of funds from Apollo and Lindsay Goldberg to Brightstar and Tinicum over the last few years
Agree Tech/HC are solid here. HC historically was better for exits, but Tech seems to be beating them in the most recent classes.
