Does anyone have any recommendations for the best book to learn tax concepts relevant to investment banking or private equity?
Despite the importance of tax it seems to be glossed over in most finance textbooks.

Problem with tax is that it's country specific, there is very little alignment internationally. Very different from accounting standards that are converging much faster.
Most big-4 have papers on specific tax issues.
