Anyone have thoughts on top MMHC PE shops? Comp, exits, work/life balance would all be appreciated.

Some interesting upcoming LMM shops out there in NYC.
Ascend Partners and Regal Healthcare Capital Partners come to mind.
Altaris, Cressey, Frazier are a few that come to mind
Was just a thread on this. Some of these are Umm but gtcr, Francisco, Genstar, summit, TA, silversmith has some good ones, advent (more a MF), Parthenon, great hill (sort of narrow in HC, think mostly insurance stuff but the ones they do have been good), Oak HC/FT has done some very cool stuff, new mountain very good, Arsenal has had some good ones in pharma, linden (though I think they overpay all of the time), water street, great point, ampersand, waud, shore (more LMM but they do well), varsity, Audax, cressey, some of flexpoint.
in retrospect the above list is pretty broad. Maybe can be more helpful if there are specific subsectors you’re interested in.
