Best paying UMM funds?
Curious which UMM funds are known to pay at an MF level or higher than their peers? Any specific ones in the major cities (NY, SF, Bost, Chi)?

Could anyone provide info about Clearlake in LA, maybe comp and culture details?

UMMs in Chicago will likely have the best take home when COL adjusted but anecdotally have heard of GI, THL, Berkshire, etc. all paying close to MF if not the same
Is MDP a MM or UMM/MF?
All three
Agreed - believe all three are over $300k for first year associates and $350k+ for second year associates.
Goes a long way in a spot where taxes are lower (for now) and luxury buildings 15 minutes from work have $2,500 1 beds.
I’d also say life in general is just cheaper here. Less “keeping up with the joneses” which helps keep the lifestyle costs in check.
Here as in Boston?
Berkshire is ~$340k first year, would imagine THL and GI are right there as well
Have heard good things about comp at American Securities, probably close to MF level, they also give all analysts and associates co-invest
Have heard the same for Lindsay Goldberg
Idk if I’d consider it UMM, but does H&F still pay above other MFs?
Chill out, H&F is a mf and pays top of street in line with APO & WP
