Best place to go for tech investing?

Senior at a target school with EB internship/FT offer under my belt. What are the best exits (e.g., Insight, Thoma, Vista) for tech investing both culture-wise and with regards to career advancement? Is this even a good idea given the current macro environment?

Warburg pays top of the street along with H&F and Apollo as of the most recent cycle. Tech team culture seems pretty good when compared to some of the other teams, but culture is relatively tough as expected along with the other MFs. You're going to get crushed, but learn a ton and get one of the best brands on your resume - that's the tradeoff

Dude sounds nicer than all of the others shitting on name brand firms. Try to work with people like Andy and not the self entitled 25 year old douchebags who think they are somehow cool for calling the best known PE shops as being weak. I always find these threads interesting. Most of the times it will be pure luck that determines where your work. Of course good to know who the players are, who has performed well etc, but candidates have less control than you would think given limited spots. Good luck.
