Does anyone have information on this newly created division of Blackstone? They posted summer analyst positions and have described it as:
Blackstone Innovations Investments (BXII) is the early-stage investing arm within Blackstone. The team sits within the firm’s Technology and Innovations group and executes principal strategic investments in companies across the FinTech, PropTech, Cybersecurity and Enterprise Software spaces. BXII works closely with senior leadership across the firm to identify and partner with world-class technology companies that can help advance innovation within Blackstone and across its large ecosystem of portfolio companies.

Ngl I didnt realize the Tech and Innovations team had investment professionals in it. Thought it was mainly SWE and Business Analysts

I heard that the team invests out of Blackstone balance sheet. In terms of career projections, does this matter if you would eventually like to move to another growth fund?
