Breaking into PE Deal Sourcing/BizDev
Hey All, Brand new to the community but so interested in it. I’m wondering if a finance background is necessary to break into deal sourcing/robust business development for PE firms—where it may be as much art as science in uncovering promising businesses, especially in middle or lower market.
Any advice? Coming with grad degree in PoliSci but experience in sales and prospect development. Thanks,
