Brutally underprepared for on-cycle

Hope everyone is in the same boat. I haven’t even hit the desk yet. How the fuck am I supposed to be able to do a full fledged LBO from scratch and have a full on thesis for the “deals I worked on” which was just editing logos on PowerPoint? This is absurd.

Same. Certainly doesn’t help that I’m coming from a consulting background. Where’s your head at? Sitting this one out, recruiting off-cycle in a few months?

I just wanted to pop in here and wish you all the best of luck, genuinely. It's a stressful time right now. Everyone thinks their underprepared, and everyone thinks that they have no shot. Control what you can, take care of your own health, and ride the wave. I'm a fucking idiot, and I made it. Have no reservations that nearly all of you will as well. Cheers!
