Burnout / Mental Health / When to know something is wrong...

There's been a lot of threads that have touched on mental health / burnout during the pandemic. But I'm wondering if anyone can shed some light on general burnout / mental health related struggles they've experienced throughout their time in finance, in particular from banking / PE / HF roles. How common would you say people in these jobs suffer from general mental health issues? What do people think are the short-term and long-term impacts? When did you realize that you were not just sad or going through a stressful period but actually suffering in a chronically problematic situation? Any advice is appreciated, thank you.
