Buyout to GP-led?

I am currently in MM PE. I had always wanted to move to UMM but recently discovered GP-led secondaries and would love to learn more. Wanted to see if anyone has done this type of move and can share your experience on the topics below?

1) How different is the diligence process? Do you find the direct investing skills to be immediately transferable?

2) Your motivation of moving? (For me - I found myself not enjoying portfolio work so much and want a more transaction focused role so thought GP-led could be a fit)

3) How do compensations and long term carry outlook compare?

4) overall what do you enjoy more in secondaries and what do you enjoy less compared to traditional PEs?

would appreciate anyone who can share a bit of your experience and also advice on how to position myself if I want to pursue this type of move
