BX GSO versus Tact Opp?

What are the differences between Blackstone’s GSO team vs it’s tactical opportunities team please? Been reading LinkedIn profiles of people from both teams and seem very similar?

GSO = credit, TO = everything, cross geog, cross cap stack, cross industry, etc etc
They do overlap quite a bit in terms of what kind of projects they undertake. TacOps are very much industry agnostic and derive some opportunities from the PE/ GSO origination.
Can/ Will Tact Op do buyout too? Or it’s only from buying distressed debt and doing a loan to own?
