BX Infra vs Energy vs Core PE?
Where does bx do it’s energy/oil & gas deals? I know it’s within some energy fund, but is this within their core PE group or the infra PE group? Any insight on the analyst role in the energy group, and any idea as to what exits may look like (HF specifically)? Any intel on their energy group would be much appreciated!

Know this wasn't mentioned in original post but there's also GSO Credit Energy with structured / credit investments
how are exits on the HF side? Are they comparable to BX PE (big tiger cubs etc)? Also how would recruit for BEP (for SA/FT) - is it through their pe recruiting or infra recruiting?

To clarify, is BCP or BCEP the main private equity fund? I'm assuming BCP?

Unless BX changed their minds after the recent run in commodity prices, they’re out of new O&G deals full stop.
