Can anyone speak on the rep of Atlas Holdings?
Would love to get a bit of color in terms of Atlas' rep as a MM PE shop relative to their competitors, and if anyone can speak to starting their straight out of UG.
I got kind of a weird / socially awkward vibe from them on the multiple occasions I was across from them on the sellside. Just kinda strange folks. Not saying there’s anything inherently wrong with that of course (or that it reflects on the experience or investment performance), that’s just the vibe I’ve gotten from working with them multiple times.
On their investment strategy - they are notorious “bottom feeders” aka deep value aka lobbing in lowball bids that have a near zero chance of hitting.
