I'm interested in joining a capital markets group instead of a traditional IBD out of undergrad, and was wondering how feasible a post-MBA transition to PE is versus the normal IB route. Will going capital markets seriously limit PE exit opps or will the MBA allow for those options regardless of first two years' experience?
