Worked with them in the past. They’re very easily misunderstood because they’re a pension fund. They have strong dealflow and a ton of resources. Don’t plan on seeing too many exits or short term deals, you’ll be working with a lot of patient long-term capital.
Long-term horizon investment strategy. Real push in infra/transport at the moment, wants to play along the CPPIB and OTPP, way to go but on the right tracks.
FYI: CDPQ has a larger infra/transport portfolio than OTPP
Should have specified in Europe, while CDPQ is also well present in Europe but similar to PSP through HoldCo while OTTP has its own. (I'm EMEA based and assumed his question was relative to EMEA)
