Cerberus sophomore 2021 internship

Hey monkeys,

I have applied to the Cerberus 2021 sophomore internship. I was wondering if anyone had any info on this opportunity, are we required to network, do they only accept people from target...

Any monkey who did it in past years can share his/her experience?

Thanks!

Thanks a lot.  Should I try to network with alumni? How was interview process if I can ask?

I know someone who interned here their sophomore year too. His uncle is an MD at Cerberus. No interview, just handed an offer. Now he is at GS/MS/JPM.

I tried to network with his uncle + many others at the firm and didn't even really get a response. I get the vibe that you really do have to know someone very well to have a shot at the process.

if I I can ask, are you at a target? are saying that even a very good resume from a target won't get an interview? should I try to reach out to alumni?
