Coatue Privates

Anyone have any input on the later stage privates team at Coatue? Also, does anyone know if their tac solutions team and this new PE team are one and the same? I assume culture is rough as with the public side but comp and exposure to AI trends is a big positive. Any general color on the teams under Peter Wallace would be appreciated

Based on the most helpful WSO content, Coatue's later-stage privates team is known for its strong exposure to AI trends and cutting-edge sectors, which is a significant positive for those interested in these areas. While there isn't specific confirmation in the context about whether the tactical solutions team and the new PE team are the same, the culture on the public side of Coatue is often described as intense, which might extend to other teams as well. Compensation is generally competitive, reflecting the firm's reputation and focus on high-growth industries.

For more detailed insights, particularly about teams under Peter Wallace, it might be worth exploring further discussions or reaching out to those with direct experience at Coatue.
