Comps and funding rounds data for private companies?
What tool do you use to find private comps, public comps, and precedent transactions for private companies?
Also, I was told Pitchbook has this but it doesn't - it's really just a database that shows investors in companies, dates and amounts of funding rounds and that is pretty much it....useful data but not sure how much better it realistically is than CrunchBase or any other tools?
Would be good to know what others use.
This is for VC, Growth, and Buyout stage businesses, so the entire cycle.
