Consulting --> PE
Currently finishing my first year (11 months in) as a BA/A/AC at an MBB, I'm definitely interested in doing PE but would prefer to recruit on-cycle fall of next year (when I'm close to my 2 year mark). Should I still schedule the initial calls with the headhunters that have reached out for on-cycle this year, or should I ignore and wait until next fall to make the initial introductions?
If I go through the on-cycle process this year and get rejected by my top choices, will I have an opportunity to go through on-cycle next year as well?
