Content Strategy at Public Streaming Platform or PE

Have an offer for content strategy at a large public company in the streaming space. More to do with acquisition of content and licensing deals for movies versus corp dev. Seems interesting and I am passionate about the space. However I am interested in investing in some capacity in my life and want to be able to do that. Not sure if I should take it or take my chances in this market either lateraling to another bank or going LMM PE. Curious as to thoughts.

For this position I would be a manager and have a lot of contact with executives.

Also wondering how difficult it would be to get to a media focused investment platform thereafter.
