Corsair Capital Reputation/Comp/Culture

Hey guys - Would love any insight on Corsair Capital. I believe they are a solid MM FIG focused shop but not too familiar with their comp and strategy. Not sure if it's been slow for them in recent years based on their fund history so would appreciate any info here as well. Thanks!

Terrible returns and needed to go through a rebranding. They needed to do a smaller fund to rebuild confidence in the brand, not sure how that turned out. They had a few associates that went into banking so that should tell you everything you need to know. The VP cohort is pretty terrible from what I hear. I work at one of the larger FIG focused funds
