had the same experience. extremely rude, very uncomfortable / bizarre questions. would rather not work in finance than work at this firm tbh. their interviews are reflective of their culture, and i couldnt imagine working in such a toxic place.
is there a reason why comp is so low?
they will take kids with no finance experience from non targets, work them to death and pay them no wages

Overpaid for bad businesses. Not having deployed capital in the last 18 months is not a red flag per-se since tech's been very slow in general.
