Do I have a shot at PE if I didn't do perfect on 5hr case study?

Recently interviewed for a PE and sat down for 5hr case study for Analyst role.

Managed to finish the model and investment memo, but found some areas where I could have modeled or answered better (e.g. using LTM financials when forecast data are available, using revenue growth assumptions that are bit random, not attaching sensitivity tables, etc).

Wonder how competitive is case study and how many people actually make it through (Do most people do well or only a handful do well?). Will it be an automatic ding if the outputs are sub-optimal? Or, do people understand that the models and memos can be imperfect given time constraints?

Appreciate your insights...
