Wondering if it's standard for PE firms (thinking UMM/MF) to pay for their associates/senior associates to get MBAs and come back as VPs. If so, does there tend to be a clause in these deals that forces you to come back to the firm after your MBA?

MF typically do if they want you to return. You typically have to pay it back if you leave within some specified window, it’s like a sign on bonus they claw back.
