Do you ever make mistakes?
I just passed in my first ever solo analysis for my first job out of college literally moments ago. I’m shitting bricks. It was a full scenario analysis for different buy options of a potential deal my MD asked me to do. I did my best but my anxiety is kicking in heavy right now. Worried I’ll get an email from my boss that I made mistakes. Do you guys ever make mistakes on models? Is it normal to be this stressed out about it all the time?
I never do, no
yes, it's normal. no, your MD doesn't expect someone right out of college to get it right on the first try. but they do expect that you learn from their comments and don't make the same mistakes twice. that's how you learn and get better.
