Does anyone know of K1 Investment Management in LA?
They claim to hire private equity analysts out of undergrad but I'm a bit suspicious of the reviews from Glassdoor. Trying to see if anyone has interviewed or have any information on them. Thanks!

Hi Ventura, no, I never sleep and so I can respond to any lonely threads (like this one) at all hours of the night. Impressive, I know ;-)
More suggestions...
Hope that helps.
bump! would love to learn more about them. looks like they focus on enterprise software.
I've heard that they pay well below market - most of their investment professionals are non-bankers. Would not recommend unless you have no other alternative.
i second this, seen the office, being in Manhattan beach its a nice location. regardless if you look at the team on the company website, few have banking backgrounds.
I interviewed with them years ago. Few things to note:
weird cliche interview questions
Mostly looking for business development people "with an opportunity to move over to the technical side (read - hiring cold calling sales people doing jack shit in terms of actual PE work
El Segundo
Offered pay was laughable
They're a legit firm in the tech growth/buyout space. More PE than VC/Growth nowadays. They do a fair amount of rollups and slightly more value oriented stuff.
If you're coming in as a Junior, I'd expect it to be sourcing heavy, but it's a name that will be recognized if it's on your resume.
Also, in Manhattan Beach.
