Does Ardea still pay top comp and have attrition issues?

I know they have paid top for the past few years but is that still applicable this year? Also, I know a handful of people left last year. I have some friends that know people there and he told me they have been losing a bunch of juniors and mid level people. Is this true? Is this normal turnover or is something going on? Any insight would be helpful.

Based on the most helpful WSO content, Ardea Partners has historically offered a unique compensation structure where analysts receive a cut of the overall firm P&L. In strong years, this has resulted in analyst compensation exceeding $300k, which is significantly higher than many other firms, including mega-fund PE associate roles. However, there is no specific information in the dataset confirming whether this level of compensation is still applicable this year.

Regarding attrition, there have been mentions of turnover at Ardea. While the firm has a strong pedigree with senior leadership coming from top-tier institutions like Goldman Sachs, there are indications that some juniors and mid-level employees have left. This could be due to various reasons, including the firm's focus on FIG (Financial Institutions Group) and its unique culture, which may not align with everyone's career goals. However, whether this is normal turnover or indicative of deeper issues is not explicitly detailed in the dataset.
