Does Insight Venture Partners take laterals at the analyst/associate level?
Interested in tech PE. Wondering if Insight take's folks at the associate level, or is everyone home grown? Any insight into HH's would be lovely.
They hire a hella lot of analysts so historically all promoted were A2A but lately they have brought in some associates from MBB, BBs, etc. No reason to think a lateral from another fund wouldn’t be welcomed.
Keep in mind your sole job as an analyst (and a good percentage of your job as an associate) at Insight is sourcing... so wouldn’t be surprised if they curb hiring a little bit ahead of a likely downturn, given the addressable (investible) universe of growth stage tech companies should shrink somewhat

Didn’t they just raise a 10 billion dollar fund? Assume they are going to be doing a lot more buyouts now. Do associates still source for that?
