Does SAT matter for PE recruiting?
To my knowledge SAT is irrelevant for PE recruiting. Doesn’t make sense why they would look at a test you took 6 years ago... But what do you guys think?

It does matter, and they look at it because they can. Knocking off the kids with 1300s makes a hard job slightly less hard.
I took the SATs 11 years ago (obviously not the on-cycle recruiting process), and Elliott and Aurelius asked for them. some places it doesn’t matter how far removed you are. they want to see you were on top of the ball from day 1. just because they can I guess.
I've always wondered if they actually verify SATs
if you make it far enough, I know some do. Aurelius verifies collegeBoard and school transcripts you have to send them over and stuff
it matters and they’ll always ask for it. At Bridgewater I had to give them my ACT (27) but still got an interview and they gave me an IQ test so maybe other firms due that.
